Eddie walked up to the corner here in Redondo Beach whereI and a friend protest every Friday evening. We chatted for about 15 minutes and then he was on his way again, south on Pacific Coast Hiway. I regretted my involvement in the Korean violence, and he seemed to have regrets about the tragic losses he has witnessed and experienced. Meeting him was a pleasure and a privilege.
It’s Christmas Eve and I have just met the Amazing Eddie Gray. I’m the Promotions Coordinator here at Casino Pauma. I noticed Eddie in the Red Parrot Lounge enjoying some coffee and TV. I didn’t know who he was, so I went and introduced myself. What a brave and noble person he is. He told me what he was doing and why and that confirmed my feelings. I wish Eddie a safe journey and hope he finds more great people in his travels.
